What is Facial Cosmetic Surgery?
Facial Cosmetic Surgery is performed to improve the appearance of the face. It may also be performed to give a more youthful look. This type of surgery is not usually covered by health insurance. Dr. Joseph performs surgery on the face, mouth, jaws, head, and neck. These procedures may include neck liposuction, facelift, eyelid lifts, brow and forehead lifts. Treatment may also include correction of protruding ears, weak chins, cheeks, and lips. Non-surgical treatments may include laser skin resurfacing, and the use of Botox, and dermal fillers.
Facial Reconstruction is surgery to reconstruct defects in the skin or bone structure. These defects may be a result of prior surgery, injury, or disease.
